Trails & Woodland Management

Purpose Statement:

To provide leadership in maintaining and enhancing the trail system and woodland areas of YMCA Tall Timbers Outdoor Center

Sub Committee Objectives:

  1. Maintain and develop trail system at YMCA Tall Timbers Outdoor Center
  2. Identify and remove dead or hazardous trees and plant life around the property and major structures
  3. Develop a map of the property and trails that can be distributed to members and guests of YMCA Tall Timbers Outdoor Center
  4. Work with the Pond Management Sub-committee on the removal of harmful tree and plant life around the pond
  5. Develop a plan for a Tall Timbers tree farm and annual transplanting of trees
